COMy2018 Achievement Award

Call to apply/nominate candidates for the "MULTIPLE MYELOMA ACHIEVEMENT AWARD"

The organizing committee of the International Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy) and the Hematology Department of the Saint-Antoine Hospital, with the support of various professional and Scientific Societies are proud to announce that the application process for the "2018 MULTIPLE MYELOMA ACHIEVEMENT AWARD" is open.

An award for the sum of 10,000 Euro will be presented at the opening session of the 2018 COMy Congress. This award recognizes and rewards innovative research that contributed significantly to development and progress in field of Multiple Myeloma and Plasma Cell Dyscrasias in general. The award will be granted to the clinician/ scientist/institution who gained the highest impact factor based on 25 references in respect to papers published between the years 2013-2017.

The Laureate/s of the award will be invited to give a lecture during the COMy Congress that will take place in Paris, France May 3-5, 2018).

Criteria for application:
Significant contribution to the field of interest of the award. The clinical or basic research papers submitted for consideration were published between 2013-2017.

Candidates must submit their detailed CV (maximum of 10 A4 pages, single-spaced, 12 font) A maximum of 25 articles can be presented per candidate.

Only original papers will be evaluated (excluding reviews, editorials, and summaries of press releases at Congresses, speeches and retractions).

Only articles for which the candidate is the first or last author will be evaluated. Journal impact factor must be submitted along with the references, in order to allow for calculation of the cumulative impact factor of the candidate.

 

The total mark for the award will be calculated by adding the impact factor of the journal in the year in which the paper was published.

 

Deadline for application/ nomination of candidate is March 1, 2018.
